Universal Speed Test ยท Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Universal Speed Test ("the app", "we") handles information when you use it. We designed the app to collect as little personal data as possible.
To measure your connection, the app sends test traffic to Cloudflare's public speed-test endpoints and reads basic connection metadata (your public IP address, the connecting Cloudflare data center, and approximate country). This information is shown to you and stored only on your device as part of your local test history. We do not upload, sell, or share your test history.
Your test results (download, upload, ping, jitter, server and connection type, date) are saved locally using Apple's on-device database. You can delete all history at any time from the History screen. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain information (such as a device advertising identifier) to provide and personalize ads. With your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, this identifier may be used for tracking across apps and websites; if you decline, ads will be non-personalized. See Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
On first launch the app asks for permission to track. You can change this anytime in
Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Tracking on your device.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
