Are the readings accurate?
dB Meter gives approximate readings for everyday awareness. Phone microphones vary,
so you can fine-tune the result in Settings → Calibration. Enable A-weighting (dBA)
for readings closer to professional sound meters.
Does it record my audio?
No. The microphone is used only to measure loudness in real time. Audio is never
recorded or stored.
How is my data handled?
Everything stays on your device. See our
