Frequently asked questions

How often are rates updated?

Rates refresh automatically and are updated about once per day from trusted sources (the European Central Bank and exchangerate-api). The app always shows the date of the latest update, and you can pull down to refresh manually.

Are the rates exact for buying or selling?

The app shows reference (mid-market) rates for information only. Banks and exchange offices add their own margin, so the amount you actually pay or receive may differ. Rates are not financial or investment advice.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The latest rates are saved on your device, so you can keep converting offline. An "Offline" badge appears when you're not connected.

Why is there no chart for some currencies?

Historical charts come from the European Central Bank, which covers major currencies. For pairs it doesn't track, the chart is simply hidden while conversion still works.

How do I add the home screen widget?

Touch and hold an empty area of your home screen, tap the + button, search for "Currency Converter", choose a size, and add it. Long-press the widget and tap "Edit Widget" to pick the currency pair.

How do I save a favorite?

On the Convert screen, tap the star next to the rate. Your favorites appear on the Favorites tab.

Is my data private?

Completely. The app has no accounts, no tracking, and no ads. See our Privacy Policy.
