Voice Studio Pro collects nothing. Here is the full list of data we collect:
That is the entire policy. We mean it.
We ask for microphone permission so we can record audio. iOS shows you an indicator (orange dot or Dynamic Island) whenever the mic is active.
Transcription uses Apple's on-device Speech framework. Audio is processed locally on your device and never sent to Apple's servers (when on-device recognition is available, which it is on all supported devices).
AI summaries and tag suggestions run via Apple's Foundation Models framework — entirely on your device, with no network access.
If you enable "Sync to iCloud Drive" in Settings, recordings are copied into your personal iCloud Drive container. This is a peer-to-peer transfer between your devices and Apple's iCloud — we never see it.
Recordings made on Apple Watch transfer directly to your paired iPhone using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This transfer is peer-to-peer between your two devices; it does not pass through our servers (because we do not have any).
When you tap Share or Export Ringtone, you choose where the file goes. Apple's standard share sheet handles the transfer. We are not involved.
Voice Studio Pro is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data — from anyone.
If we ever start collecting anything, this policy will be updated and the app will tell you on first launch after the change.
