Make sure microphone access is enabled (iOS Settings → Tonewise → Microphone), play a single sustained note close to the device, and reduce background noise.
Open Settings (gear icon) → Tuner → Transposing instrument, and pick your key. The displayed note name will match what you read on the page.
It plays a sustained reference pitch so you can practise intonation by playing or singing against it.
In the Metronome tab, tap the runner icon. Enable it and set how much to speed up and how often; the tempo increases automatically as you play.
