Overview

PDF Studio ("the app") is a PDF reader and converter for iPhone and iPad. The app is designed to work entirely offline and on-device. We do not operate servers that receive your content, and we do not require an account.

Information we collect

None. PDF Studio does not collect any personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or diagnostic data. We have no backend, no tracking, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Your documents

All PDFs, scans, images, and text you create or import are processed locally on your device and stored only within the app's own storage. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. When you choose to share or export a file, it is handled by Apple's standard share sheet under your control.

Camera and photos

• Camera: used only when you scan a document. Captured images are turned into PDFs on your device.
• Photo library: used only when you pick images to convert to PDF, or save exported images back to your library. Access happens locally and only at your request.

These permissions are requested by iOS the first time you use the relevant feature, and you can change them anytime in Settings.

Optical character recognition (OCR)

OCR is performed on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Text recognition happens locally; no image or text is sent off the device.

Children's privacy

PDF Studio does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
