How do I create a note?

Tap the + button in the top-right corner of the home screen. You can add a title, body text, and a checklist, and pick a color tag.

How do I make a checklist?

Open a note and tap Add item. Tap the circle to check items off, and drag the handle to reorder them.

How do I lock a note?

Open a note, tap the ••• menu, and choose Lock. Locked notes require Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to open.

Where are my notes stored? Do they sync?

Notes are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, they sync automatically and privately across your Apple devices. Nothing is sent to any other server.

I deleted a note by accident.

Deleted notes go to Settings → Recently Deleted, where you can restore them for up to 30 days.

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap the + in the top-left, search for Glass Notes, and choose the Recent Notes or Checklist widget.
