Privacy Policy — Don’t Touch Red

This privacy policy describes how the Don’t Touch Red mobile application (the “App”) handles your information. The App is published by Birkan Aksoy (“we”, “us”, “the developer”). Contact: abirkan.aksoy@gmail.com.

TL;DR

We do not ask you to sign up or create an account.
The App stores your high scores and preferences only on your device.
We show ads from Google AdMob, which may collect identifiers and basic device info to serve and measure ads.
On iOS, we ask for App Tracking Transparency permission before any ad network can use your advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline, you will see non-personalized ads instead.

1. Information We Collect Directly

None. The App does not collect personal information directly. Your scores, stats, and settings are saved in local device storage and never leave your device through us.

2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

We use the following services, which may collect information independently according to their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob (advertising)

We use Google AdMob to display rewarded video ads and occasional interstitial ads inside the App. AdMob may collect:

A non-permanent device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android, if you allow it)
Coarse location (country/region) inferred from IP address
Device information (model, OS version, language)
Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks, completions, rewards)

This data is used to serve relevant ads, prevent fraud, measure performance, and report aggregated revenue to us. We do not receive your advertising identifier or any personally identifying information from AdMob.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App displays a consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform) on first launch, allowing you to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads.

3. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App will show Apple’s standard App Tracking Transparency prompt. We use this only so that AdMob may access the IDFA for the purpose of personalized advertising. If you tap “Ask App Not to Track”, no advertising identifier will be shared, and you will see contextual (non-personalized) ads.

4. Children

The App is rated for ages 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Per Google AdMob policy, ads served to user profiles indicating under-13 age are treated as non-personalized.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not hold any data of yours on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. To remove all locally stored data, uninstall the App, or use your OS’s “Clear App Data” function (Android) / delete-and-reinstall (iOS).

To request deletion of any data held by AdMob, contact Google directly via their privacy controls.

If we change this policy, the “Last updated” date above will change, and the new policy will be posted at the same URL where you found this document.
